Greg Lau draws upon a multidisciplinary background encompassing computer science, business and law to advise clients on:
Greg takes a multifaceted approach to client service, providing legal counsel as well as advocacy with federal regulatory agencies, and advice on applying new and emerging technology to develop business opportunities and strategies.
Before joining ES&A, Greg co-founded ProjectG, a Washington, DC, stealth-mode startup developing automated penetration testing tools to enhance cybersecurity for small to medium-sized organizations. Prior to that, as a Senior Technologist with Holland & Knight, LLP, Greg developed and deployed proprietary auditing software; created safe testing environments to determine clients’ cyber vulnerabilities; participated in negotiations with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC); and interfaced with international clients to explain GDPR requirements and compliance.
Greg earned his J.D. from George Washington University; an M.B.A. with dual concentrations in Finance and Information Technology/E-Commerce from the University of Denver; and a B.S. in Computer Science, with double minors in Math and Business, also from the University of Denver.
