The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has released two new Temporary Worker Initiative (TWI) Bulletins:
Bulletin No. 8 – Respiratory Protection (OSHA 3952 – 2018)
Bulletin No. 9 – Noise Exposure and Hearing Conservation (OSHA 3953 – 2018)
The bulletins are part of a series of guidance documents focusing on compliance with safety and health requirements when temporary workers are employed under the joint employment of a staffing agency and a host employer. The guidelines cover host employer responsibilities, staffing agency responsibilities, records retention, and sample scenarios.
