The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has launched a pilot interactive data tool to track employment trends. The public now has access to EEOC Explore, which uses aggregate information from employer EEO-1 reports, collected annually from private employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees; data does not identify any employer or employee. Users can search statistics of sex, race, and ethnicity by job category to compare and map data trends at the national, state and county level. This pilot phase uses two years of EEO-1 data (2017-2018) from more than 56 million employees and 73,000 employers nationwide.
