The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced that EEO-1 data collection for private sector employers scheduled to open at the end of April 2021 will close in July 2021. The exact closing date will be posted when the data collection launches. Employers required to submit EEO-1 Component 1 data for 2019 and 2020 will be notified how to access the online filing system in April. Employers can also find information on the EEOC home page as well as on https://EEOCdata.org, the new dedicated website for the EEOC’s data collections.
