The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) prohibits federal contractors from discriminating in employment against protected veterans. In support of VEVRAA, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has published promising practices to promote effective practices for federal contractors and subcontractors, including the use of apprenticeship programs that can benefit both contractors and protected veterans.
