Commemorative Resource Guide Offers Resources for Employment of Individuals with Disabilities

To mark the 50^th anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) has released a Commemorative Resource Guide with resources for recruitment, hiring and employment of individuals with disabilities. Issued by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) along with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), the guide includes resources for:

• Job Accommodation Network for free one-on-one guidance on job accommodation solutions for employers as well as individuals and their families
• Recruitment and Hiring of Qualified Individuals with Disabilities for federal contractors
• Reasonable Accommodation Pocket Card for job applicants and employees
